I love hearing reflections from parents on the life of their child and how Champs Heart has changed a life! It is amazing the difference horses make in people’s lives! With all the love our horses receive, they must have a sense of how they make a difference in the lives of children! Here Lexi is loving on Rocko! 

"Lexi is nothing short of extraordinary. She lights up every room with her laughter and pure joy. She began her journey with Champs Heart about nine months ago, and the progress she’s made since then has been truly remarkable.

Before starting the program, Lexi’s core balance and confidence in walking and running were almost nonexistent. Through her dedication and the incredible support of the Champs Heart staff, she can now run and play with ease. Each visit brings her so much happiness. She greets the horses with excitement, kisses them goodbye, and always thanks them for their help.

Lexi is Level 3 autistic and developmentally delayed, and large animals can often feel intimidating for children like her. However, she immediately connected with the horses’ gentle energy. Within just a few sessions, she was able to ride independently, sitting tall and steady as her core strength improved.

We cannot express enough gratitude for the care, compassion, and confidence that Champs Heart has brought into Lexi’s life.
